Miss at la Playa: What happens if you are a model and forget the way back to backstage

Another fun anecdote, told by backstage photographer Mark Reay exclusively for Miss at la Playa.

Rodarte once again had a great collection and the models looked great with their innovative make up. When I got to the location at 8am, some models were rehearsing (except for Jessica Stam). During the show the models had to make a few zig zag turns and Jessica Stam got a little confused and zagged when she should of zigged and wound up turning and walking into something that looked like a stage exit but was actually just a curtain to hide a big lighting post. She stayed there hidden but trapped for 3 seconds and then came back out on the stage holding in a smile. I saw her later that day and teased her "little tricky at Rodarte no?" "What a way to start the day!" she said rolling her eyes.

Otra anécdota divertida, contada por Mark Reay, fotógrafo de backstage, en exclusiva para Miss at la Playa.

Rodarte fue una colección estupenda, y las modelos estaban guapísimas con el innovador maquillaje que usaron para el desfile. Llegué al backstage a las 8 AM, cuando las modelos estaban ensayando (excepto Jessica Stam). En el desfile tendrían que caminar haciendo zig zags y durante el desfile Jessica Stam se confundió y caminó hacia el lado equivocado, acabando en lo que parecía que era la salida de la pasarela, pero que en realidad era una cortina que tapaba un foco. Se quedó allí escondida/atrapada durante unos segundos, y volvió a salir al escenario escondiendo una sonrisilla. La ví más tarde y le dije bromeando: "Un poco accidentado hoy en Rodarte, ¿no?" y contestó "¡Menuda forma de empezar el día!".
